Ridiculous rent and rates drove Den Living out of the city centre a few years ago, when they set up shop in a Mill in Bury.

“…spectacular new showroom in
former cotton and textile mill…”

Last night (23rd Oct) Danny Healey, entrepreneur and owner of bespoke, affordable luxury furniture and interiors business, Den Living, launched his spectacular new showroom with a night of high fashion, design and glamour.

Stylish guests from across the region joined Danny and his creative interior design partner Paula Hopwood for the party at Den’s vast New Victoria Mill home, on Wellington Street, Bury.

Danny and Paula have created interiors for a host of familiar names and places, including the homes of Man United players and Mahmud and Nurez Kamani, the brothers behind the Boohoo fashion empire, along with leading bars and restaurants Chaophraya, Rosso, Solita, Almost Famous, Home Sweet Home, Intro and Barber Barber (to name a few).

Party goers enjoyed fizz and canapés as they viewed the spectacular new showroom, housed on one floor of Den’s vast five storey former cotton and textile mill.

The showroom, which features a series of spectacular, unique room settings such as The Persian Princes, with its antiqued golden wall coverings, Alice in Wonderland with its wild-yet-luxe fabric designs and Pure Opulence with its dramatic, bold pieces including a vast black chain mail chandelier, has been designed to inspire the viewer, whilst allowing Den’s quirky and individual yet luxurious style of bespoke furniture to shine.

Three of the key room settings were brought to life in fashionable style with models wearing couture gowns created by Manchester designer Fatz Kassim using Den’s signature fabrics:

Alongside the showroom, Den’s design genius Paula Hopwood’s ‘Imaginarium’ is a welcoming space where customers can sip tea and consult with Paula, who will help home design dreams become a reality. A cinema room offers sound and vision options and an art gallery space where local *artists will be able to sell their work, has walls and furniture adorned with the eye catching work of NW based graffiti king Eject.

The launch party comes as Den Living celebrates a decade of success designing and creating furniture and interiors for an array of commercial and residential customers. Sky high rents in Manchester forced Den to move to the Mill in Bury two years ago.

Now, the vast former cotton and textile mill is home to Den’s team of designers and master craftsmen. All orders for both private homes and commercial venues are designed and custom built from scratch at the mill.

Commenting on the launch Danny Healey said:

“Den has certainly come a long way in the last ten years; we’re proud of what we create, here it has a chance to shine. It’s a dream come true for the Den family and it’s time we allowed ourselves to celebrate.”

The showroom is now open to the public. For more information and for details on how to order, visit deninteriors.co.uk
